Data cable for VX6100
Can anyone tell me if the VX6000 cable is the same for the VX6100? I can not find the data cable for the VX6100 and would like to sync my Outlook addresses with my phone...

I called verizon and LG about this last week....the answer I got was no...and they do not know when any such software for cable will be ready.

Not using anything yet... I just got the phone and want to sync the data...Funny thing is ...when I purchased the phone ...Verizon was able to transfer the numbers from my Motorola t720 to the VX6100... so I am wondering if the cable for the VX6000 and software like datapilot will work?...

The data cable for the 6000 will not fit the 6100 it is too small. You would think LG would make everything fit the same but of course not.

I have been using a USB data cable for VX7000 and DataPilot software with my VX6100. I purchased the cable on Ebay. It is straight (no box in the middle) which is much like the one you can purchase at RadioShack (Future Dial brand). DataPilot just came out with new update version 3.7.0 which includes drivers for VX6100. If you have recent version of DataPilot you can download this update from the Susteen website. It supports phone book, ring tone composer, image editor (both read/write to phone) and Internet data connect. Unfortunately it does not support Calender. I was able to transfer Outlook phone book to my phone with no problem. I was also able to download pictures that I took with VX6100 to my laptop with this setup. I am aware t...
