LG VX-6100
Voice mail password
Hey everyone, I have recently purchased the VX 6100 and love it, except for the volume bug. I have saved my voice mail passowrd in the message setting window for ease of use, but I noticed that when I have a new voicemail, and the little dialog box comes is, and I hit listen, it automatically dials *86, not the number that I have saved in the message settings window that would automatically input the password. Any ideas here? Thanks inadvance!!

Regretably, the menu-4-7-6 only works for the 1 key speed dial (hold down the 1 key for 3 secs). The natural workaround is to put your voice mail number in your contacts. It's not bad. LG must have some reason for this issue because it's on every one of their phones

Not sure if this works on the LG6100 as I have the LG6000, but try this and see if it works: If you can, find the msg settings option in the menu (usually found under messages). Click on msg settings and if there is an Edit Voice Mailbox Number option, edit it there to have your password in it...hope this helps! If not, sorry...lol
