LG VX-6100 vs Samsung a670 - New York

I live in Brooklyn and I am often in Long Island (Westbury, Carle Place, Valley Stream, etc.) and know the area fairly well in relation to reception. I would personally choose the Samsung over the LG because I think the Samsung is a better built phone. The Samsung doesn't have the speakerphone like the LG but it has a better camera, and V-Cast. You have to ask yourself if you will ever actually use a speakphone. Another thing is that the Samsung is digital only and the LG is tri-mode but there is digital service almost all over the Island. The only place I have noticed poor recption is while in malls such as the Broadway Mall or Roosevelt Field Mall deep inside a store. Another place I have noticed poor reception is at the Wal-Mart in Valley...

I have had both of those phones. I don't know about your coverage, but I would choose the lg over the samsung! I liked the lg phone alot better
