LG VX-6100
phone randomly switches to analog
This phone keeps going into analog mode. If you see it you can turn the phone off and on, it comes back digital. BUT, if you don't catch it it will kill your battery. I know one other person who has this problem. Are we alone? Any Ideas?

store and had a software removed and
reinstalled. Problem corrected... also

ok, you can force it. it doesn't show up in the menu, but here's how you do it.
press menu
press 0 [zero]
it asks for a 6 digit service code it's
000000 [all zeros]
press 3 [force mode]
pick what you want.... just remember that it won't switch when you need it to. This might not entirely be what you were looking for, but it is one option.

I guess this answers my question about if you can just keep the phone on digital?? 😕 It looks like they would have gave an option of setting it to all digital, all analog or both. Kyocera has a option like that..I wonder why LG didn't do it to there phone??
