2 New phones
I have 2 sprint 8200's brand new in the box. One is blue and one is silver. I bought these phones as a gift for a friend thinking that they would work with verizon but was later told that they would not. The store would not let me return them because I lost the reseipt âšī¸ . if you are interested, I am willing to do away each one for $230. I payed $280 for each one but I am hoping to get some money back. My email is CambyR1974@hotmail.com. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks!

50 dollars for the 8200
I just moved from my 3 year old LG phone.
I wanted a picture phone, but i didn't want to spend a lot of money and I wanted one that didn't suck.
I was dumbfounded to find out that this phone that I got for $50 (at Costco after 150 rebate) worked great. My brother just recently got an ATT camera phone, and we would take the same pictures. It was amazing how dark and grainy his were and mine were clear and sharp. I really felt bad for him since he just bought his phone and switched carriers. This phone has a flash but never needs it since it s' iris works so well.
Best $50 dollar phone ever.
Can anyone who uses the PCS vision Service answer a few questions?
Hey guys I'm new to Sprint and was wondering if someone could clear up a few things that are a little fuzzy reading the FAQ's.
When you get the PCS Vision Plan, its like $15-$20 a month.
Does Web surfing or any of the services count against your plan minutes?
I see that they charge you to download graphics and ringers, but does it cost a fee say every time you go to a website to get info? (like weather.com)
If there are applications like a weather update app, do they charge just for the app or as a monthly service as well?
I have heard people say that downloadable ringers not only cost like $2-$3 per but only last a couple of months. Is this true as well?
What all would be involved for me to add my own Midi ringer and or a...

comments on signal strength
Hey, I am about to enter into an employee plan with sprint. The plan is great, but I have a few questions about sprints service in the Lancaster, PA area. For any of you in that area, how is the signal, I know its relativly solid with cingular...but I dont want to be stuck with a motorola phone. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Issues with the 8200...
Well... Yahoo Pictures does not work with the handset. The only thing is, the website will not let me remove it from my account (It bills monthly).
Also, Business Connection is all jumbled on the screen. You can't see anything. I reported it to the powers that be (a good friend who can get things done). Hopefully there will be a software update for this.
I have to get used to the volume being on the other side and the Ready Link "preparation" each time I log off the web.

The Weather Channel - where is it?
One of my favorite Internet applications has been The Weather Channel (TWC) with its doppler radar and animated map. (I previously used it on my old 8100)
I have tried to download TWC on my new 8200, and for some reason, I can't find any link to do this. WeatherNews is the featured weather app, and it sucks. Has anyone with an 8200 downloaded TWC or is this weather application not available for this phone?
PM8200 Signal Strength
Day 2 into a 14-day trial with Sprint with the PM8200 and very much like it, including near Motorola speaker-phone quality. But, half the signal bars show that my Samsung SCH 8500 had and concerned whether it will fade quicker? Anybody around high buildings in Chicago or New York notice PM8200 signal problems? Thanks. Is it easier to send/receive txt messages on the 8200 than on the 8100?
I have had the Sanyo 5300 and the 8100. Text messaging is a ROYAL pain in the butt becuase you would have to connect to the internet in order to send and receive text messages.
MOST of the time the server would be down or the network would be down or it would just take forever to log on.
Has it gotten any easier? From the looks of the phone and online demo it SEEMS that you don't have to sign on to the internet any more and can simply go into the messages inbox and read the messages.
Any info is appreciated

Animated screensavers
I just got the pm8200 yesterday, so far a very cool phone. However, I was just wondering if there is some secret to the animated screensavers? I downloaded a couple from 3gupload.com and they are very choppy when they play on my phone. It is not a smooth animation like it is on the website? Any help would be appreciated

how much memory does this phone have
I have a Sanyo 8100, and my only real complaint is that it doesn't have much memory for ringers and pictures. I'm thinking about getting either the Sanyo 8200, Sanyo 4500/5500, or the Samsung a680. Can someone let me know how much memory there is, I can't find out anywhere. Thanks.
