Does anyone know if they make faceplates or extended life batteries for this phone. I seem to remember seeing one of the demo phones with a black cover and orange accents (on howard forums). Since the battery life is not that good, it would be nice to get an extended battery to make it last longer. Any info would be appreciated.

The phone has no removable/changable faceplates. It is like many other flip phones where you have to dismantle the top flip part of the phone and do it which voids warranty. As far as batteries go, there appears to be only one size since it uses a battery cover which doesn't allow for anything thicker unless a company made an aftermarket battery and battery cover.

On the LG's I've seen, the battery is the actual back part of the phone without a battery cover, so its real easy to make extended life batteries for those since there is no confined space for the battery itself.

It has a square battery, with a battery cover over it (I know it for sure because I own the phone). I guess I could be wrong about the other LG's.
But that's beside the point. You can buy an extended batter for the 3200, the battery just comes with a deeper battery door that makes the phone thicker.
So having a battery cover doesn't prevent having an extended battery, because they can just include a bigger battery cover with the battery.
