The VX-4650 officially replaced the VX4500
The new VX-4650 is now on VZW's site as of June 20 in the Brooklyn area code. No more worries about when it is coming out now! Does anyone know if the accessories to the VX-400 will fit the VX-4600?

The accessories for the 4700 fit this particular phone. The batteries for this phone (extended and standard) are the same as the 4700 and the 6100. I can't wait to purchase this phone. When I tested the 4700 at the store the speaker was so LOUD!!! I need a loud speaker like that and it's so reasonably priced. I also hate camera phones, so this is right up my ally.

I have heard that the VX 6000 USB cable can be forced into the VX 4700's slot but I'd prefer to use a cable designed to fit properly.

According to Futuredial's website, it would seem that cable# 49 or 50 would work with the 4650/4700.

Where did you see that on Futuredial's website? I've looked around and saw no reference to the fact the 4700 cable would work for the 4650. Granted their search function stinks, but I did look for a bit.
Can anyone confirm that the 4700/6100 cable work for the 4650? I already bought one 4600 cable that didn't work.
Also does anyone know the difference between the straight through usb cables compared to the ones that seem to have a box/chip?
