Plain wallpaper - no pictures?

I just ported from Cing( old ATTWS) to VZW and selected LG VX4650. Is there anyway to change from pictured wallpaper choices to a boring plain background (i.e. wallpaper turned off)? I see no option for that.

I, too, just want a blank screen--no wallpaper, but although the instruction book says I can choose a blank screen, I can't figure out how to do so. Have you had any luck?

No luck on my end. My son's new LG 3300 has a "none" setting for wallpaper, but not my new LG 4650. Odd that LG offers the "none" wallpaper option on a basic phone such as the 3300, but not on the 4650.
