Nokia 3220

Is there a way to turn the shutter sound off or at least lower it some. On my phone it is WAY loud - louder than the ring.

I hit Menu up>Options> and have gone through each of these to find a mute feature as the guide says, but nothing - nothing at all in any of the options.

Help.

my sister bought a usb ... but now, we format the computer and she can't find the cd to install it so the computer didnt recognize the usb... something like that...
so she dl the program from the internet... but when she connects the phone to the computer, it doesnt work anymore

does anyone know what she can do?? ...

It's pretty simple you don't even need nokia pc suite.

All you need to do is do the walmart trick, if you don't know how to do that here's how:

www.walmart.com / go to music and search for any music you like they usually have 30 sec snippets of songs.

save the mp3 file to your computer.

all you actually need is the nokia multimedia player that you can download from www.nokia.com

this program automatically converts the mp3 snippets to amr. extensions.

once you do that go to http://www.funformobile.com/pages/ringtone/up loadRingtone.php

upload your amr file and send it to your phone. it will arrive as a text message.

check the text messages on your nokia 3220. Go to options /use detail/select web address and it ...

Has anyone noticed Emo's anus in one of the screen savers?

I have saved an mp3, uploaded to my computer but I cant figure out how to tell my computer to use nokia multimedia or how to convert to amr, when I use funformobile to send it to my phone it still sends it as an mp3? any help?

I'm thinking about getting this phone... I'm real big on setting MP3 ringers. Will I be able to download MP3 ringtones to it from the TMobile website?

Hello.. I am very interested in this phone, however I have heard a lot of complaints about the 5 touch key pad being too small. Is it really tough to naviagte whether you want to go up/down/left/right/ or select??? Also how durable is the phone? Thanks guys!

Being able to quickly lock/unlock the keypad is important for me (to avoid accidental calls)... how easy is it to do this with the 3220? How do you lock/unlock? Can it be done one-handed while riding a bicycle?

Hi. Does this phone have an automatic time update feature? I travel a lot and hate having to manually adjust the time every time I change time zones on my current phone.

I read in the review there is going to be a Electronic Payment Shell made for the 3220. I'm guessing it's for scanning credit cards like Nextel has.

I have been debating over getting this phone but i have been hearing mixed reviews(as with any phone)..how is the quality of the phone itself? is it durrable? the quality of pics? can you set pics for caller id or wallpaper? now the big thing is this recording voice memo, ive heard you can record music and use it as a ringtone. now, how is the quality for that? how many can you record at once and for how long? can you have several saved and use one for each different caller? please help. thanks. 🙂

Basically, I have had this fon for almost 2 months and absoloutley love it. Perfect fon and oh so cute. My question though is if anyone has figured out how to change the banner on the fon. I am in Canada and my service provider is Rogers Wireless so my screen displays "ROGERS" across the screen right over any picture I try to save as a wallpaper. This is particularly annoying if I want to save a picture of my boyfriend as a wallpaper, he has a big "ROGERS" right through the eyes. I have gone through all of the display settings and cant figure out how to change this or delete it alltogether. If anyone else has figured it out, I would apprecieate it.

Have had this phone for a few days and noticed a few quirks. The one I'm mostly curious about is the AIM client.

I activated the AIM client and signed on with my name, sent & received a few messages, no problem. Later in the evening I noticed that my screen was constantly lit up and would not dim down. After scratching my head for a few minutes, I disconnected from AIM. That was apparently the problem, as the backlight faded like normal.

Have any of you noticed this "feature"?

I thought everyone should know that if you press and hold the end key while it is locked it will light up and show the home screen that you have set up for phone without unlocking it.
