Signal Refresh Rate
Has anyone noticed that Nokia take much longer than other phones (Motorolas for sure) to acquire a signal once it has lost it? I have T-Mobile and in my office building the signal disapears in the elevator and it take a while for the phone to get back to the T-Mobile standby screen. If I use a Motorola (V600) then the refresh rate is much quicker.

T-Mobile release?
Recently it is listed that Cingular and T-Mobile will carry this phone. I can see why Cingular would carry this phone, but why would T-Mobile?
1. Nokia RARELY releases both the A (GSM 900) and B (GSM 850) versions of a phone with the same model number in the U.S. market. Only the B versions usually get U.S. production. On T-Mobile's network, the GSM 850 band is simply a wasted band.
2. T-Mobile hasn't launched EDGE yet. Is this their launch phone for EDGE?

Cingular to release March 1st
Cingular is supposed to release this phone on March 1st
well..the 3220...
alright, i did alot of research on this phone before i purchased it...its a good phone if its what your looking for, the camera is great quality and the video recorder is pretty cool, the lights are cool but really get irritating (i turned them off now)
Theres alot of advertising about how unique and changable this phone is and how its "a new phone everyday" this is not the truth..the wallpaper, themes and screensavers are not very unique and the same options of personlising it are featured on many other phones. The fact it doesen't hav infared or bluetooth can really irritate. In the end i would give it 7/10. Its a great phone but alot of the features are not so unique as nokia has advertised. If you are interested in this phone do alot of ...

WOW, first nokia phone marketed to kindergardeners!!!
It's always been known that Nokia tends to the teenage crowd with its changeable covers and colorful phones, but this is ridiculous. What's next a joint venture with Crayola or maybe Pokemon. Hahaha, you have to laugh. When will Nokia mass produce a well-designed, sleek, slim flip phone for the business professional?

Flash SMS---Awesome
I think this phone is great and has a lot of features to make it a big hit with the younger generation and with some older ones. I have had to use software on my PC to send Flash messages from my phone. Having that feature built-in is like a dream come true. I don't know of any other GSM phones from Nokia that have that, or from any other provider without 3rd party support. I hope this feature becomes included in future phones.
