Speaking of pricing, have you posters on this site noticed that Cingular just made a change to their web pricing? I went on their site on Wednesday 6.1.05 to check for changes and/or possible new additions for a new month. The prices seem to still be the same but each listing now carries the qualifier of requiring new service. The new service requirement on their site is a new addition in the last few days.

Cingular screws us existing customers again. Customers like me who have been with the company for 10 years can't get a break while first time customers get all kinds of deals. By the way, our local Best Buy has the RAZR on sale this week for $150 but again only for new service. The BB ad did say existing customers could get a 1...

I also noticed that they have drastically increased the price of family plans. I was with att and was paying $60 a month plus 10 dollars each extra phone. We had about 1000 minutes free weekends and it was a regional plan. Now my brother is getting added to the family plan and since att doesnt exist anymore it is impossible to add anyone else to the existing family plan. So we have to convert to cingular and pay 80 dollars a month for the same amount of minutes plus an extra 4 dollars a phone so we are already spending an extra 22 dollars a month. What a rip!!!!! 😡 Also cingular screws the att customers by limiting phone support. For example, my SE z500a has all kinds of problems but we cant send back ATT phones for repair because of a manu...

So why do you stay with Cingular? Just curious. I'm not on a plan now and am shopping for a bluetooth phone. I wanted to go w/VZW but they are taking too long to come out with their LG 8100 or Moto e815. Wondering what to do. 😕

At my store we offer our existing customers the same price as our new acto customers.... its different when you buy from BB or another AGENT. Thats the key. Agents make more money of activations, so therefore can offer a better price on the phone. Dont get that confused as being cingular's fault. Cingular actually makes more money of existing customers than new customers......
