EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

UGLY DUMPLING

Aug 21, 2005, 2:44 PM
I've had the black RAZR for two days on Cingular and I think I'm gonna return it. The phone itself is beautiful, but the sound quality is AWFUL. I can barely understand or hear the person on the other end. The earpiece is very 'distant' sounding and muffled even with the volume all the way up. My Nokia 3100 was a million times clearer. Anyone else that has the RAZR feel the same way? Are all Motorola's like this?

yes i have the black razor also, it a joke, all look but no brains, no edge. no video capture, t mobile have video capture. i,m thinkin about switching to verizon and gettin the lg 8100 or moto e815. the razor camera sucks about 20/90 not that clear, spk is loud, handset earpeice to low can,t hear, cingular is very crappy there phone should all be edge but some are still gprs, there store rep don,t know jack.cingular is very sorry, i talk with a moto rep. she told me cingular disable a lot of features, phone left moto plant with all features

i have a razr with t-mobile, and i can also say that the sound quality is less than spectacular. sprint had near-perfect sound quality.

alas, i can't complain about the price. $40/mo for 1000 min.

i'm also a technology buff and wanted the coolest bluetooth phone & bluetooth earpiece to go with my bluetooth laptop, bluetooth pocket PC, bluetooth mouse, and bluetooth keyboard. so i'm staying with my t-mobile razr because sprint has probably the ****tiest bluetooth phones out there

Must be a T-Mobile issue, I have no problem whatsoever with the volume of either the earpiece or the speaker phone.
