Only some of time, when i have the phone closed will is say the time, most of the time is will have verizon wireless. What is wrong with the phone, is this a flaw.....how would i fix this?

There is probably nothing wrong with your phone. It says the time when the flip is closed and Verizon Wireless when the flip is open.
