V620 FOR EUROPE AND CHINA ??????
I WAS IN THE GSMARENA FORUM..TRYING TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THIS PHONE..AND SOMEONE SAID THAT IT IS FOR EUROPE AND CHINA ONLY..AND THE US VERSION WILL BE V635 AND WILL HAVE EDGE AND BE FOR CINGULAR.. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE CLEAR THIS UP?? AND WHEN IS IT COMING OUT?

According to this site, when you look for the info related to the 620, it says that is is not offered by any US carrier, but does say that it is compatible with some carriers. There are owners who say they are currently using this phone. To me, that means that it can be used here. I hope that info you got was false!! Check out the info I got on the v635...

Sorry, but the US designation for this phone (v620) is V600i. The v635 is a completely different animal, which is supposedly out first quarter 2005. (VERY nice work, Moto!) Those of you familiar with Motorola product release dates know this means: do NOT get your hopes up until 2nd quarter 2005, possibly 3rd quarter 2005...
