Motorola V620
Software questions
-Is it possible to access (or synchronize) the V620 w/ Filemaker (Pro or Mobile) files -- in particular, the "contacts." If so, how so?
-Is there any Mac OS X software that's compatible w/ the V620, and would enable it to do things like file transfers, i.e., tools similarly offered in Palm Desktop?
-Would these functions, mentioned above, require the use of a USB cable instead of doing these things through Bluetooth?
As of now, you will need to use a usb cable with your Mac. I have set up isync to sync my phonebook with Mac address book. I have not tried any other pim apps yet. At some point, mac will support the bluetooth connection.

I've actually found that one can use OnSync (downloadable at versiontracker) to connect this phone via Bluetooth. But so far it only works w/ the address book. Haven't found any other software yet that work w/ Mac...
Any other ideas...?
your equipment provider here. Hope you are enjoying the phone.
I now have the V3, MPX220, Treo 600 and am hoping to upgrade to the Treo 650 when it launches.
Anyway, thanks again for buying and happy holidays.
The V620 is working great! I figured out the phonebook problem, and have gotten mobile phone tools up and running (sorry I can't use that program on my mac!). I've uploaded some mp3's to use as ringtones and successfully used the camera.
Happy Holidays!
