TRANSFERING PC VIDS TO PHONE VIA CABLE

Does anyone know how to transfer your own avi or mpeg video files to your phone via email or usb cable? We know now that we can disguise mp3s as midi files but i would like to get some of my own video crap in the phone as well. I have the 8940 and any news from this forum would probably be helpful.
