Phone Cost
This is in addition to what i wrote earlier today. The price I was givin was $400 with a 2 year contract and that might be $399 but the guy said $400. And i just read some of the other post and there was mention of a contest starting on Jan 10th. So this would co-inside with the information he told me about the phone being available on Monday Jan 10th. Assuming no shipping delays.

$399 *WITH* a 2 year?! 😳 😢 👿
No thanks, my 3650 is running like a charm after 2 years and I'll just buy a much better digicam for that money. $399 standalone I could understand, but 2 years should take $200 off that price with a rebate, that's just plain highway robery, the s700 has been out in Europe for 6 months.

it is 500 with no contract. and the s700i is about 600 on ebay. this phone is worth the money.

I am going to end up paying the $500 for this phone so it better be worth it...sigh ive gone through so many phones looking for a soulmate...from the v400 to the LG1400 to the v551 and now I am on the Sony Ericsson z500a...i really have wanted this phone for a long time but have just been so impatient on waiting to play with a new phone....god i hope this is the last one
...
you bought all those?!?!
that is an insane amount of money so far, my friend. i'd have stuck with the v551 until the s710a arrival.

The Sony Ericsson S710a will be available exclusively through Cingular Wireless stores and online at www.cingular.com beginning in December 2004, and will retail for approximately $399 with a service agreement
...
Okay you do realize it's January 2005 and the phone isn't available on cingulars website so your statement it will be avaialable beginning Dec. 2004 is slightly off.
...
LOL, Yeah this guy posted the same thing elsewhere too. Let's all slow down and let Forestrat catch up.
