OK guys... here's the scoop. I just got off the phone with one of my local Sony Ericsson reps...

He confirmed that SE is to ship the S710's to Cingular on Feb 14th. This would seem to confirm the reports we've all been hearing about a possible launch date for Cingular on or around Feb 17th.
For those of you in this forum who work in direct sales (such as myself) and have won one of the phones..... He confirmed that the phones will be shipped to us as they are released in our individual markets. We will NOT have to wait until the end of the TrainGainSE contest to receive our phones. The SonyStyle e-dollars are the only thing you have to wait until the end of the contest for.

i am direct sales and i won one also, so from what i gather our phones should be in the shipment with the stock for sale? if so that would rock hardcore

Yeah... They will ship your phone to whatever address you used when you registered for the contest. Should be around the same time they start shipping them to stores in your market.

Just Kidding.....that's great news! I've e-mailed Sony like 4 times, and they keep saying "product ship dates are yet to be determined, based on product release dates and subsequent market availability".....I just want it NOW!!!
