a couple of questions
Specfically can you get pictures of the SD card and into a computer? Ringtones and MP3's as well?
Also does the phone offer any sync'ing capabilty with a PC, either directly (USB) or via software.
Specifically Outlook contacts and calendars. I very much would like to sync the Outlook Contacts with the phone.

The phones are in the stores. A REVIEW of the 8940, 8000 & 890.
The Audiovox 8940 is in route and should be in hopefully at the same time they launch all three phones on Feb 1.
How do they compare? 🙄
Don't get hung up on which one has a better camera and base it only on megapixels. There is more to a good camera than pixel count.
The 8000 has a bright and large screen. The pictures, both indoors and outdoors have good color and saturation and generally look better than the 890. But the 8000 is HUGE!! No, it will NOT be comfortable in a pants pocket. The 8000 is one of the ...

Verizon just announced availability of their latest EV-DO cellphone, the CDM-8940 from UTStarcom (they bought Audiovox’s phone business last year). Here’s the scoop on the CDM-8940: it’s a clamshell handset which sports a 1.3 megapixel digital camera, a miniSD memory card slot, and a 2-inch, 262,000 color main display, a 1.2-inch, 262,000 external display, and is compatible with their new VCAST streaming video-on-demand service.
