I just got my phone and am thrilled with it so far. I just have one question, is there a way to turn down the shutter sound or turn it off? Thanks for your help...

I currently am using an SGH E715 which I love and hate to give up.The only problem is that I have to charge it once a day even without making many phone calls. I am thinking about purchasing a E315 but want info on the battery life...How's it working so far?

How can I associate a pic that someone sent to me with their caller id? So far I can only associate pics I have taken there must be a way to do the saem with a pic someone messages to me.

I'd love to continue using it on T-Mobile's network...but reception sucks.

I mean even in certain parts of the city (which is a very small college town by the highway where there is supposed to be great coverage) I can get no signal and emergency-only calls.

I'm very disheartened by spending this much money for a phone that I can't seem to use half the time.

When will the samsung sgh-e315/e316/e317 be released in the UK?

What is the price of the Samsung SGH-E315 if I'm on Orange? I can't seem to find it anywhere ☹️ I would want pay as you go, simply because its cheaper than Sim free, although I am going to keep my existing simcard and put it in the e315 when I get it for Christmas.

Is anyone else getting a beeping noise when they're on a call. Everytime I'm talking to someone on the phone it makes a beeping noise every minute or so. I call the tmobile customer service and they said it's for counting the minutes. Does anyone know how to turn this off? Is anyone experiencing this problem?

I just received my e315 but not completely thrilled with it. Maybe that will change over the next few days ... in any event I could use a little assistance.

I formerly used a bar phone and like the idea of accepting or rejecting a call as I pleased. On the e315 every time I open the phone (when it rings) it is a automatic answer. Is there a way to turn this feature off? I do not use any key answer so that is set to the disabled tab. But I truly dislike opening the phone when it is ringing and being forced to answer it.

My other problem is the volume of the phone. I do not use a headset just the actual phone and I can hardly hear anyone. I adjust it while talking to the person with no real success.

is anyone else finding the battery life on this phone to be short??

Just thought that I'd mention that since some of you have mentioned you wished the external screen would stay on, so you can check the time... if you hold down your volume key, it activates the screen. Just something I discovered...

Also, if you want to leave on the active folder option, you can reject a call by simply pushing down on the volume button... it continues to ring, but no volume.

I finally got my e315 yesterday. It is awesome. The camera is awesome. The color external display is awesome. The phone in general is awesome. You can't beat the price considering all the features it has. Get this phone!!

I like the phone. It's alright. I love the color. The picture is not as bad as some people say it is. The only thing I don't like is how the external display dosn't stay on. Or does anyone know how to make it stay? And I also don't like how the pictures stretch vertically. Other than that I'm very happy with it; I can't wait for it to finish fully charging so I can play with it some more.

Rich, hopefully these questions aren't in the info section and you don't get mad.

Does anyone know how the video clips will be? I've seen the video clips for the D415...are they similar to that? Is the sound quality good in the video? Also, how are the ringtones? The E715 only supports extremley short HIFI ringtones..will this be the same? I hope not.

Still messing around with it, and although the signal seems a little weak, I am enjoying the phone so far. I'll post a review when I get more familiar with it.

Anyone else having trouble upgrading to this phone? Tmo.com doesn't allow upgrading, only buying phones with new service activation. I called Tmo directly and they said that this phone is not available for upgrade yet.

Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas on how to get around this? Or hints?

I'd really like to try this phone out.
