Quiet ringtone?
Lately I have been getting a very faint ringtone when I receive a call and in the left corner of my screen it says quiet before I answer. I have the ringtone set to high and when I test it, it is loud, and I am not in Manner Mode. I also do not have the speaker phone on. I can't seem to get the quiet to go away, and haven't found any instruction in the manual for this action. Any help would be appreciated.

Owner's Manual
I hope someone can help me. I am getting this phone for my Mother. It is a basic phone. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could download a Manual for this phone. I know that it will come with one, but I like to have one for myself so if my Mom has a problem I can look it up in the Manual also. I need this because I live almost 60 miles from my Mom and it makes it easier to help her with problems.
Thanks for your help.

speakerphone
Hi
I just purchased the LG 3300 and cannot find any mention of the so-called 'speakerphone' in the User Guide.
Can anyone tell me how to 'turn it on'?
Thanks so much,
Paul

LG VX3300 screwed up call logs for dialed and received calls?
I am having several problems with my cell phone. It's a LG VX3300 from Verizon.
I got a LG VX3200 for free for renewing my contract in October 2004. That phone lasted until the late summer of 2005, when I started to have a lot of dropped calls and high minutes and bills.
The phone was replaced with a refurbed VX300 in October 2005 after a little haggling with Customer Service, but alot of haggling over my bill.
That phone worked OK until December 2005 when the phone started dropping calls alot and my bills in Dec2005-Feb2006 were outrageously high. The phone was replaced with yet another VX3300 in February 2006, and it took about 3 months of constant hassling with Customer and Financial Services to get my bill reduced.
Now I wa...

Mobile Phone Management Tool from COMPUSA
Just want to share it with you. I purchase a mobile phone management tool from one of the COMPUSA stores, the package looks great (just like one of Sony's software package), and the price is reasonable (compare to other similar products in the market). The package includes 1 data cable and 1 software CD, the software really surprises me! It can turn my phone to MP3 ringtone (any ringtone I like, with excellent quality!), and the software includes more than hundreds pictures and ringtone!
Just want to let you know that I like this small tool very much. If you own a multimedia cellular phone, you really do not want to miss this nice product! 😁
Tri Pack for 3300 for CHEAP!!
Hey guys, in the event of the upcoming season, I am trying to make someone a real good deal. I have a VX300 Tri Pack I purchased from a store and then I upgraded my phone, I never opened the tri pack or used it (Don't ask me why) but if u want it, I am trying to get rid of it, they are about $55 at a VZW store with tax so I am going to get rid of it for less than half price, please email me if interested, UncleAir@hotmail.com, just title it "Tri Pack". Thank you, and have a good one...

Privacy Issue of external display
Some people don't want the number of an incoming call on the outside for security purposes. For someone who has to leave a phone somewhat in plain site, like on a belt clip or something, the number is made public. This sounds like a superior feature to me.
Buy One, Get One - Worth it?
The Verizon Web site is showing lots of "Buy this phone, get a free VX 3300". Since both my wife & I need a phone, I'm thinking of getting her the free VX3300. All she needs is phone service. Will this likely last the 2 years, until next NE2?

To all critics
🙄 This is exactly the same as a 3200 w removable face plates. The 3200 has proven to be a solid, reliable phone as will this 3300. For those of u who are complaining about external CID and GIN, buy a different phone (4650?)... This is an entry level piece with no frills. parents buy these all day long specifically so their kids can't run up GIN bills.

CCD Camera Phones
Were there any camera phones that use a CCD sensor rather than a CMOS?
All the megapixels in the world done mean a thing if the lens and the sensor are not high quality.
If you compare the MPX220 1.3 mp CMOS camera to the SE S710A 1.3 mp CCD camera there is no comparison.
Aside from the s710a are any other manufacturers planing on putting together a phone with a CCD camera to compete with the s710a?
The reason I ask is that I like all the features on the Sony-ericsson, but I do not like their interface. I may stand alone on this fact but I prefer the motorola interface, especially when it comes to their predictive text input and various menu navigation.
I am trying out the s710a for a few days and I have decided they...

I think what is missing
That should have been reported were the small upstart companies.
I talked to some of the manufacturer reps and more than a few of them were impressed with the design and build qualities of some of the smaller Chinese and Korean venture groups.
One group that was really impressive at the show was NewGen with their really cool designs.
Under an inform discussion in the eating area, some of the these product managers feel that in the next 10 years, some of them (like Hop On, Bird, New Gen, Telson) maybe in the top 10 market and some of the older stalwarts in the world markets (like Alcatel, Philips, Siemens and Mitsubishi) may pull out as phones becomes total commodity items.
