This surprises me. I know that the GET-IT-NOW is a cash cow for VZW. I wonder why not include it in the phone, or is it not a software removal but a chip set issue. I would suppose this phone has no browser either?

that is really dumb that they don't have get it now. My friend has this phone and I have the vx4400 which is over 3 years older and IT has get it now.....BIG mistake on verizons part :-\
