Why bother?
The 3100 was the one that sucked. The 3200 is a fine phone. Not every phone is going to have tons of features. There need to be a range of phones from entry level to high end. Not everyone wants to drop money on a phone that all they do is make and receive calls. At my store we give 3200's away for free and there perfect. They pull good service rarely come back for repair and are overall very reliable. So the reason to bother is that stores need low priced basic phones and so do the carriers for customers who want a simple as possible.

Agreed, but it hardly matters anymore. With the Samsung A570 out now and two new Nokias coming in July (one likely an entry-level model), there's enough good altneratives for ppl looking for an entry-level phone that isn't quite as basic/ghetto as the 3300. 😎
