Hide Incoming Instant Messages
Has anyone found a way (?external software) to suppress incoming instant message text? New SMS messages appear right on the screen - with no way to hide, mask o stop them. Any ideas? Hey Palm, If you can turn off an audible alert, why not the visual one, esp. the whole message? Thanks!

A program called "Butler" will eliminate the annoying SMS pop-up. Instead, it places a small flashing star in the upper left hand corner of the screen until the message is read. Besides that feature, butler will also allow you to use the side rocker buttons as up/down controls, and it has many other neat features that palm should have included in the device but didn't. Butler sells for about 12 bucks, and is worth every penny
