Does anyone know when this phone is coming out? Or maybe a prediction of the price?

The info states that this phone will be released in the first quarter.

I would like to know an exact date, because I am deciding between this an its LG counterpart (A7110).

The A7110 says that it will be out by the end of this month.

How much will it cost?
I am not sure of Cingular's price scales.

Does anyone think that it will cost more than $200?

My phone is slowly falling apart and needs to be replaced, I was hoping to get this phone. But for 300 dollars its too much. Is this the best price we will see for a while? How long do you think it will be before it drops. I know its brand new and all....but 300??? Ouch.

Its on their website for 299.99 with a 2-year contract. If anyone buys plz write a review. 😉

I know I'm getting the phone tomorrow, but I wanta hear reviews... screen brightness, clarity, how smooth does the keypad feel, good features, bad features... stuff like that... plz indulge me

As far as I can tell--no speakerphone. For a $300 phone, I would expect that. Oh well.

Is there a way to stop the front lights from flashing when the phone rings?

would you guys quit bitching about ****ing bluetooth already, i swear EVERY SINGLE ****ING SAMSUNG PHONE FORUM is full of threads about "no bluetooth" (the exception being the D500 of course)......im sorry that every cell phone invented doesnt have every feature under the sun and shave your balls for you, perhaps you should work for samsung 🙄

I took this one home to play with last night and I have to say that I am impressed, at least as far as Samsungs go. It didn't drop calls like the x427 or e317, It got better recption in my apartment than any other phone I have used (which is the biggest suprise to me), and the camera works very well. I like the spring action in the slide mechanism and I like that you don't have to open it to make or answer calls. I did't like the screen so much. It's great in manufactured lighting but is very difficult to see in natural light (It was clear yesterday afternoon and the screen was very difficult to see and overcast and darker this morning and the screen was even more difficult to see). Hey look it's a camera, that allows you to talk in to it. The multi-media functions are great just too bad that it doesn't have Bluetooth or speaker phone. And the $300 2yr contract price is about what you would expect to pay.

is there one? i mean the site does not mention it at all, and i really dont want to be running around with a cingular branded piece of equipment, not to mention i want triband w/ 900/1800 as opposed to 850/1800, it does not appear that there is one which is strange for samsung....anyways, if anyone has anymore info let me know, i will continue to research it as well

Not that im complaining but why couldnt they make a nice flip phone with all of these features.

I wish that samsung would hurry up and release a high-end phone with bluetooth in the near future!

since this phone doesn't have speakerphone do you think the volume would be good on the mp3 player? Also others have mentioned the price of around 200. Is that with a new contract or to just buy the phone? Thanks
