this phone looks kind of boring..... 😕
And exactly like the original Samsung a500. It's virtually a clone.
What's your prob? Did an entry level phone fall on your dog and kill it? 😳

That's one big entry level phone.
VGA1000, SCH-a520, SGH-S307 all look like it. The only difference is that the phones above were discontinued over a year ago.
What's the point of releasing a phone that comes straight out of 2003 in 2005?

Because ppl will always want free or cheap, simple phones. End of story.
I was talking about design of the phone. No matter if the phone is free or not, people want a design that is out of 2005, not 2003.
What's the point of having the old skool design of the 860 when Samsung has new designs based on the X495?

Love how you talk to people. Is End of story how you talk to everyone? Must not have too many friends.... 😉
Tsk... touchy, touchy, touchy. No need to take petty cheapshots at my personal life simply because I don't agree with ya, sparky. Just makes ya look bad. 😁

Because like fashion, its cyclical. There will always be entry-level phones, even if they put ppl like Brooklyn to sleep. Entry-level phones don't c...

It is possible to have entry level phones that are unfashionably outdated. Models like the LG 125 in iPOD white, the Nokia 6101, Motorola V262 have proven that.
And for a phone to become cool again, it had to have been uncool for at least a certain period of time and when it is re-introduced, it is re-introduced as a modern update (like the 10th anniversay StarTac or Ford Mustang, not a design that was found in one of the old designers desk. 😁

Not the sign of an "innovative company" as they claim to be.
Entry-level phones are seldom innovative. They are commodity products, after all.
I'm sure Samsung doesn't really care if their EL phones are seen as innovative, so long as they sell. Apparently this approach works for them, so they keep doing it.
And there never was an SCH-A520 🤭 If you are talkng about the SCH-A530, that handset shared nothing with the other two you mentioned anyway!
I was referring to the general design of these phones, which is similar to the older phones. And an all silver phone? Defintely, talk about old school.
As for the 520, semantics, semantics...Samsung SPH-A520...Whoops got a letter wrong, don't get your panties in a knot there. 🙄
