Does anyone have one of these cool new phones (A630)? If so, can you tell me if there is any vibration feature built into it (e.g. can you turn vibe on/off, does the vibe do anything beyond just pulse?

I'm considering buying this phone. Unfortunately, I have not and will not be able to physically look at one unless I buy it.

I was considering a Motorola V60s, but the reviews said that the side keys are entirely too easy to accidentally press, which created many annoying and embarrassing situations. I've returned land phones for the very same reason, so I'm no longer considering this phone.

So, are the side buttons (which, as I understand are only to control volume) easy to accidentally press either while speaking on the phone or just in a purse pocket?

Also, is there an outside display to let me know who's calling?

If it makes a difference, I'm on the Verizon plan (just upgrading a phone).

Hello, Does anyone know why my light sometimes blinks every 20 seconds or so and sometimes not at all? Is it tied into how good of a signal i'm receiving?

Ok so how do I download new ringtones? It says I can at vtext, but I cant, I even emailed them and they said I couldnt, even though on the box it says I can, but I can recieve messages with picture and audio(media) attachments I can download... and when I go to my ringtones I have preloaded and "my tones" but it says none have been downloaded... I dont have get it now, but supposedly there are some websites that will send me messages with the ringtones attachments... any help would be greatly appreciated...cool phone by the way...i didnt want a camera phone nor did I care about the outside display...

There is a picture of the Verizon branded A630 on Howard Forums. Sadly, the version of this phone likely to hit Verizon is not gray and black as shown here. It is blue and silver outside, and all silver inside. Leave it to Verizon to make sure all of their phones are silver.

so is the phone after the A670??? because it hasnt been released yet and i compared the two.. it seems this phone actually has less features than the a670.. can anyone explain? or is it just not released yet.. thanks for info in advanced

Ok, the styling is VERY nice, and I'm glad Samsung is F-I-N-A-L-L-Y starting to include speakerphones on their phones (what took so long guys?). But still, details... details...

No outside display? Ugh. Even a small slit-style monochrome one would've been fine, and an improvement over the a650 (why do phone makers keep trying to get away without having these, when they're so obviously useful?). And I'm still not sold on the internal antennae. Some folks reported that their Sammy 330s, while nice otherwise, just didn't get the rock-solid Samsung reception they were used to.

I guess I'm still waitin' for the phone I want to use my upgrade on. ☹️

I've also seen this in a silver and blue version. I'm not sure which will be the final version, or if they might offer both...

Is the model number. Why is a newer model having a lower model number? I know that Samsung is running out of numbers in the a6X0 range, but psychologically, it is better to have a higher number when a product is replaced.

Still, phone model numbers have never made sense in the first place..... 😉

Pretty nice for an entry level phone, I hope it's starting price turns out to be really cheap, cuz I think I'll be selling quite a few of these when they finally come out 😁

I have the Samsung A650 and the new samsung a630 looks great. I love the fact that it doesn't have an external antenna and that it has a speaker phone. Some major updates from the a650 should make this phone a hit!

Completely better looking than my a650 (which I shoved back in the box in favor of my 3589)...but will it getter better reception than the 650? Still, though...I love the look.

The Sprint version of this, BTW, will be the A560. Almost exactly the same, with just slightly different styling.
