A630 ringtones question
Ok so how do I download new ringtones? It says I can at vtext, but I cant, I even emailed them and they said I couldnt, even though on the box it says I can, but I can recieve messages with picture and audio(media) attachments I can download... and when I go to my ringtones I have preloaded and "my tones" but it says none have been downloaded... I dont have get it now, but supposedly there are some websites that will send me messages with the ringtones attachments... any help would be greatly appreciated...cool phone by the way...i didnt want a camera phone nor did I care about the outside display...

I was wondering the same thing so i called verizon's cust. service and after 10 mins of being placed on hold, was told that vtext is only for "get it now" phones which the a630 is not. I asked why it said otherwise on the box and manual and why the phone had the option to select downloaded ringtones and her response was
Manual -- that's for all samsung phones, not the a630 specifically (umm..... ok)
The Phone Menu -- that's just a mistake
The Box -- that's a mistake, we are sorry.
Hum... I left tmobile for verizon's network and cust. service. I hope the network is better :-)

just got off the phone w/ Verizon. They called a store and told me the same thing which another Verizon store at another location said....
It is a new phone, and their website is not updated. They did not give me an ETA on when they will update VText.com for this phone. Supposably, once Vtext.com is updated, the sch-a630 will be on it, and we'll be able to download tones.
I hope it isn't corporate BS to let my 15 day exchange policy expire.
