will this phone play the mp3 clips from walmart as ringtones?

I don't know about the mp3's as ring-tones from Walmart, haven't tried that. (Are you asking if it plays MP3 ring-tones from the microSD memory card? I am not sure of that either but I would bet it can).
It plays MP3 music files from the microSD memory card in its built in MP3 player just fine (I have a 512mb card in mine). Since it only has 7mb of internal phone memory you really couldn't load too many songs on it not to mention what would be the point of the phone having an expandable microSD slot and it not allowing you to load MP3's on it?
