Motorola V360 / V361

Please can any one help me out!

I have Motorola V360 and have been using for last 1.5 yrs. Recently during my vacation trip to Florida, I received a phone call and I could hear the ring tone but could not hear anything from the person calling. I tried to call back and could not hear the outgoing ring tone. I called the person on the same number from my land line and he said he received the call but could not hear anything from my cell phone. My cell phone status showed connected. I can make outgoing call and receive call but with no voice! I also noticed that the SPEAKER option is not available on the screen.

i see people saying that they use a 1 gig card i have the tmobile us blue version and the phone will not formatt my card. i went to motorola site and it says up to 512mb card so does it only accept up to 512 or can i get it to use my one gig

I have been having a couple problems with my V360 lately, especially concerning the phonebook. For some reason now, whenever I try to access the entries in my phonebook, instead of displaying the information of each entry, I'm automatically taken back to the home screen. Also, whenever I receive a call from one of the people in my phonebook, I don't see their name but instead I see their number. The latter issue isn't that big of a deal but I would like to know why my phone isn't letting me access my phonebook properly.

I have been able to see some information if I choose to "Edit" the entry but that doesn't work for entries that are designated as cell phone numbers. Anyone else have the same issue?

I forgot the camera, so took a number of photos of my son's school play on my phone. They have gone missing. I think my other son, 3 years old, was playing with the phone and may have deleted them. I know on a computer, files are not necessarily gone until the are overwritten. Is this the same on a cell phone? I REALLY need to recover these photos!

How well does this phone work as an organizer? I'm the kind of person that likes to plan out my days by setting off specific hours for things I have to get done. If I could put all this info on my phone as well as test times/ when I have to go to work that'd be great. Anyone out there got any opinions on how this phone is as an organizer?

I just bought an unbranded V360, and am wondering if anyone else is having the same problems I am.

First, it appears that the phone doesn't understand Message Waiting Indicator updates. Instead of having the MWI appear and disappear when I receive and check voicemail, I get empty text messages from "_@" and "@", respectively. So obnoxious! 😡

Also, though the manual says that the phone can auto-update its date & time, the menu option to enable it is missing.

Finally, sometimes when I press send to make a call, the phone will say "Calling...", but never connect the call. Generally, a reboot fixes it; not sure whether this is the phone or the network.

I just spent the last hour or two searching for any type of keyboard that may work with the v360's mini-usb port or any type of connection.

I know it's not a product everyone would want or need, but i'm a little tired of having to think a few words ahead of what the predictive text will pick up on instead of getting the words I want since I can already type a few words faster than the phone can even think. heh.

I honestly don't care if its wired or wireless. Wires don't bother me any, in fact, it'd work out better since it would be powered by the phone and not need its own battery.

My V360 will only hold appx 30 incoming and 60 outgoing messages in it. I have jacked with the settings but thats all I can get it to hold until it starts rejecting new messages, until i clear old ones. I have a 1 gig memory card in the phone!! Any suggestions? or is that just the way it is?

I just bought a v360 and am very pleased.

My problem is (and it is minor luckily) that Digital Audio Player isn't seeing any of the song info in the mp3's. The songs have valid id3 tags according to ID3X. My computer is a MacBook with OS X 10.4.

Is there anything special I have to do to get the songs listed by artist or album?

(I looked at the info on the songs in Digital Audio Player and it only showed an entry for song with was the file name)

I can listen to the songs by going to Songs; but this will get annoying once I get my 1 gig card.

i subscribe to Tzones on Tmobile and own a Palm TX device....does anyone know how/if I can use the phone as a modem for surfing the internet on the Palm device?

I have had a moto v180 for over a year now, i love the phone, but i've just had tolive with the annoying clicking sound it mkes when you open it ☹️ does anyone know if the v360 makes this noise? It's so lound and i can't even open or close the phone in a quiet room without everyone hearing.

I'm trying to download pics from phone to PC w/USB. Find folder mobile/pics, but it's empty. Can see pics on phone at T/Fun & Apps/Pictures.

Anyone have any ideas?

how do i get it 2 work? everytime i try 2 login it says aim sign on failed... what is that about? and it has the aim feature on the phone so i dont get why it doesnt work, can somebody help me out? anybody got a way 2 get it 2 work?

can the files on the card be used as ringtones or caller id pics? or do they have to be stored on the phone

I wanted to listen to MP3s in stereo on my V360 so I got a 2.5mm to 3.5mm stereo jack adapter. However, I still can only hear sound in one ear.

Is this supposed to work? What am I doing wrong?

I've had this phone for a week and I am somewhat technically savvy, and I've follwed the manual, but I get it to work. I only have 2 songs on there taking up 7,712 kb, but when I try to open the player, the screen says 'please wait" and has a cup of coffee on there. Any ideas? Thanks

I just got the 360 today, and I was wondering how other users backlight for the keypad works. Mine seems to work when it wants to. I would think that it would light up when you push a button, but mine doesn't. Any help?
