Does anyone know how to turn it on/off?

I have the Nokia 6030 RM-74. I do not know which GMS band it has. How can I check which GMS band which my Nokia 6030 has. Which GMS band that T-Mobile is working now?

When I put the T-Mobile simcard to Nokia 6030 RM-74, it has not any signal, the phone looks know that I put the simcard in it. I can go to menu, or setting hour, date, except calling. The phone cannot receive the simcard. It does not appear the Logo T-Mobile.

What is difference between Nokia 6030 nad Nokia 6030b?

How do I set/chnage the VoiceMail tel no to button "1"

As it is if I press button #1, it will dial my Voicemail to retrieve messages.

After unlocking it, I am going to change the SIM.

I just got a Nokia 6030 from Cingular here in the US and have been
trying to hook it up to my computer. According to both Nokia and
Cingular (who was probably told by Nokia) the phone has no official
cable connectors and that the only way to transfer stuff to it would be
through WAP.

I did some research on my own and came across a few websites that list
some unofficial cables. I also keep coming across contradicting posts.
Some say that you cannot connect it, others say that you can connect
it. And those who claim to have been successful have posted information
which is insufficient and terrible (I mean painfully terrible) to read.

I recently got my phone stolen and now I have to upgrade on T-Mobile.
I know this isn't the greatest, cutest one out there but I'm sure it will do fine.
The only thing I would like to know is if there are other color themes on the Nokia phone?

does anyone know how to lock the keys on this phone?

After I make any call, I get an alert from my provider Cingular regarding the balance in my account. I do not want this message to ring or vibrate, unlike the other normal text messages that I receive. I am not able to change this setting on my 6030. In my earlier phone, 6010, this alert was separate from my other text messages and would not ring or vibrate. Any idea how to fix this?

I want this phone. I've heard it is available in Wal-Mart for cheap. True?

Hi im wondering if u can use the regular headset that comes in a t-mobile box or if u have to buy a sperate headset because i see none at nokia's website or if u can just use the phone its self im asking because i really want the phone but the radio question will make me decide wether or not to get it any help will be used in my decicion thax 😁 🙂

My Nokia 6030 always shows the "voice message" indicator on top left corner of screen, whether I have new messages or not. Is this a malfuncton? 😕

Just got the 6030 and tried to store numbers in 1-touch dialing. Can't seem to follow their directions to get to it. What am I missing? Sorry for the newbie question.

Can you tell me if I can look at the spec and be able to tell if 2 handsets are equivalent in terms of running the same java app. Because I am thinkign about buying new handsets but I have some old java apps that I want to move over to the new handsets. Even better, maybe some one can give me a list of equivalences for both the Nokia 6030 hehehe~~ 😁

how come this phone is only dual band? wouldn't it make more sense if it was tri band?

okay. im still debating if i should get this phone or not. right now i have a sony ericsson t290a (replaced my RAZR) and i REALLY dont like it but i still using my cingular phone as a back-up (i have a verizon lg vx8300) but this phone looks cool and has a better rating than the 6061 so im kinda stuck. any help would be apprecieated. thanx

Yesterday I was in a T-Mobile store and they had a flier with all of thier current phones, as well as the coming soon phones, and they listed the 6030 as one of them. The T-Mobile version will be silver, instead of the black that Cingular has.
