I own this phone
I bought this phone on my new-every-two plan. It only cost me shipping ($13.95) after the rebate. I bought the phone because of the Micro SD Slot. I also bought a 512 MB card and it hasn't arrived yet from an on-line retailer.
This phone has great sound and reception. It holds the call through the areas my LG 6000 would always drop, and I mean always. I would tell the person on the phone "I will call you back after I get past this area" then the phone would die. The CDM 8945 hasn't dropped a call in the first month.
I really like the larger feel of this phone. It weighs more than my past phones and this also make it easier to hold. The really tiny phones cramp my hand and always put a crease in my ear. I am usually tal...
