Ummmmmmm NO... it's a GSM phone......... how and why would Verizon want it????
...
Negative, GSM means it's either Cingular or T- Mobile and lack of 850 makes me think neither will take it but Cingular certainly won't, since they use 850 band a lot. It certainly looks nice though it's not a flip bit it would be hard to make a decent sized flip with so much stuff in it and I really like the idea of the hard drive.

Looking more closely I see that it's also GPRS internet and T-Mobile is upgrading to EDGE which makes me think that it's even less likely to be a T-Mo choice
...
Very Good point. However although it is upgrading to EDGE it might have this phone geared for a pre-upgraded network. Or maybe its for T-Mobile Europe. Its very possible.

u do know that tmobile with be finish on the upgrade by the end of the year. they are more than 90% done.

What are you guys thinking? It will be a miraculouos thing if ANY American providers carry this. It's too high end. It's GSM, so only Cingular or T-Mo would have it, but T-Mo doesn't get high end phones and Cingular needs a marketing plan with any high end stuff. Long story short, get ready to import it when it's released.
