Sometimes when my phone is on vibrate only or silence all, it will ring anyway. Not all the time, just at random. Has anyone else had this problem???

By pushing and holding the "*" key it puts the phone in vibrate mode. This should disable all sounds.

That's the problem, though. When it is on vibrate, it still rings instead of vibrating. I called verizon last night and they said that it is a common problem with this phone, but the people that I know with this phone don't seem to have this problem. Verizon said it should be fixed with a software upgrade.

Sorry, thought you were just turning vibrate on in the menu picks and not actually putting it in "vibrate mode".

This was a problem with the 8100 for some people also. Once the software update came out it seemed to be fixed. Hopefully that will take care of it.
