So, does that mean this device works like a Blackberry does as far as email? If it does there really isn't a point in getting a blackberry anymore...

I'm sure that while it may have the functionality of blackberry e-mail, it will be NO blackberry. I've seen other phones like this and there is no substitute for a blackberry. It's like a phone with PDA functionality. You don't REALLY get PDA functionaliry unless you buy a PDA/Phone.
