Kyocera Slider Remix KX5 / Slider Sonic
Any ideas on when this phone is available for Verizon?
I see its up for a few other carriers. Could I somehow buy it from them, and activate it through Verizon?

it won't be possible to buy the phone from a different carrier and use it for verizon. other carriers have the phone specified for that network which is completely different tan verzion's (GSM vs. CDMA). most other carriers require SIM cards, where verizon doesn't. i've tried it before and it doesn't work.

I asked about this phone at a Verizon Wireless store in Long Beach Calif. I was told that VZW had bad luck with the first version of the slider and probably would NOT be carrying the new model. I am just as disappointed as you are by them not carrying the new model. This model is still new and they just might offer it in the future.
