How do you change the defaults on the navigation keys?

The factory programmed down key leads to "Recent Calls".
Up key is the feature selection thingy.
Right key is Voice memo.
Left key is easyedge.
I HATE THESE DEFAULT SETTINGS. Does anyone know out there know how to chang things up?
The manual doesn't talk about it. And the US Cell reps I spoke with didn't have a clue either.
