Motorola i850 problem

I just bought a Motorola i850 from Nextel, and all of a sudden out of the blue the phone will only show a white screen that says "FLASHStrap, bad signature, ready to program" and then it gives a bunch of letters and number.

How do I fix this? Or is there a way that I can program it...

When this happened to me, the it would not turn off or anything. I removed the battery to shut it off, then, when I reinstalled the battery, the phone relaunched itself back to normal. Worth a try!
