Samsung SGH-E640

I recently purchased a E640 phone and I cannot dial out or send text messages. I receive a message that says "Not Allowed". Does anyone know how to remedy this? Please help!

isnt this the same fone as the mm-880 from sprint except without the lavender tint? this is literally wat i wanted and was waiting for but its gsm and i hav sprint(cdma). will they make another one of these for sprint?

if you notice cingular don,t sell a good phone with great feature/time to go to verizon
