Can I connect my 7130 as a modem to my laptop. I do this with my I500 and it is great and free when I travel for internet!!!

Yes you can. You need to download "Connection Manager for Phone as Modem/USB Cables" or equivalent from your supplier. If you are a Sprint customer go to www.sprint.com/downloads select your operating system, and download the above referenced file.
To use your phone as a modem just run the connection manager program on the PC, connect your phone via the USB cable and press the "go" button.
I have experienced difficulty from time to time when the program has not been able to recognize that the phone is connected. The problem is resolved by resetting the phone ( by removing the battery pack and reconnecting after 20 seconds)
