Vibrate and Ring?
I read on CNET.COM that it is possible to put the phone on vibrate and go to "vibrate detail" and choose a ringtone. This will then make the ringer "Ring and Vibrate," Is this possible or is there really no solution to the "Ring and Vibrate" feature. This is a thing that is sort of holding me back from trading my 8100 in and getting the RAZR.
I guess if the ringers are loud enough i could deal with it but lemme know.

Just tried it. Unfortunately, no. if you set it, instead of vibrating, it just plays the ringtone. There has to be a solution.

lmao that was quick but overall how do you like your phone? I realyl wanna get the razr but im hearing the problems but theres problems with every phone. My 8100 is nice but i like razr looks better and the bluetooth is better im hearing.

I upgraded from an LG VX 7000 which I loved.
I now have the RAZR and I really dislike it.
I should have listened to my inner voice and just kept the 7000 or upgraded to the 8100.
I think the phone is so overrated and the quirks and sensitivity of the side buttons changing settings when in your pocket...well just unacceptable.
I wish I could sell mine. I've only had it 2 months but it is 2 months too many.

You know you bought the phone for it's style. So like it, love it, and stop whining for once.

If you lock the keys by pressing [CLR] then [*] the side keys lock and you don't have to worry about the settings changing, My old LG VX4400 did't have that option, and I always wished it had, becaust it was always changing on me, not an issue with the RAZR
