Motorola RAZR V3c

-Several seconds of delay after pressing OK to access the menu.

-When the Razr is put on Vib only, when a call is received it doesnt vibrate, it goes to slient all, but when a text or other alert is received it vibrates.

-Unable to send pics over 300k bytes.

-Time on outter display isn't in sync with the inner one. The outter one seems to display the time the phone was last booted up.


Yeah, um we're waiting for fixes....

Does anyone notice that the "inbox" on the text messaging never tells you how many you have in there, but they "Outbox" tells you how many you sent!?!? If so, why does it do this and is it a glitch?

My phone never vibrates when on vibrate. It just rings like normal. WTF?

How is text messaging on this phone? can anyone tell me who has experience. I text message alot so any replies would be appreciated. Thank you, Steven

Can you transfer ringtones via bluetooth using mobile phone tools of so how???

How is everyones battery holding up? I go through 1 to 2 bars a day depending on where I am and how good the signal is. What about everyone else? I have had some better but I just wanted to see if it was just me first or if everyones is about the same.

Its listed as being a tad bit thicker and longer than the v3 for cingular..... but how much is a "tad"? i hope it isnt drastically larger.... is it?

Hi razr users. I was wondering if anyone saw a dip in reception with the internal antenna. I have a Samsung a670 and can extend the antenna when reception is a bit low. Does anyone have any comparative experience with the razr and another phone? Is reception as good, better, or worse? Thanks for the feedback!

According to motorola as of 12/19/05 the razr h3 headset will not be out until about january-february of next year

I tried the bluetooth wirless file transfer last night, and i successfully transfered two songs to my phone...so it does work!

Just got my razr and looking to get a back-up battery. Included with the phone was a moto SNN5777A (3.7V). Moto site offers a SNN5696B (3.6V) battery (SNN5777 not available). Are these compatible?

I am having problems with the speaker phone. Sometimes the person on the other end cant hear me. Is anyone else having the same problem. I also hear a static in my blue tooth, is it the blue tooth and how can I fix it?

Is this phone made of plastic or aluminum? I read earlier that it was plastic, but I saw a flyer in a verizon store that said it was metal. Plus the moto website says its made with "eye-catching metals" but the advertisement is different than the original v3. What's the real deal here?

Does everyone else's display stay on while it's charging?

I would like to know if any of the phones in the store have full bluetooth capabilities.

Verizon Strikes AGAIN!
I was elated that I could finally email a music file (.mp3, .wav, . mid) to my new Razr V3c phone through my yahoo account even though they are stealing 25 cents from me every time I do it.

The problem is when you try to set the sound or music as a ringer, IT COMES OUT OF THE WRONG SPEAKER!

I tried calling my cell phone a dozen times from my house phone and every downloaded sound file would be very quite when the phone "rang".
I spent 20 minutes screwing around with my phone setting trying to figure out if I had the volume set low somewhere.

FINALLY I put my ear real close to the phone and realized that the ringer sound was coming out of the tiny "ear" speaker on top of the display, not the big speaker on t...

Some of my contacts have multiple phone numbers. If I enter a speed-dial code, I am taken to the correct phone number, but when I hit send, the phone dials the number that is highest on the screen for that person, regardless of which number is designated as the default. For example, suppose I have entries for home and office, and the office number is designated as the default. If I enter the speed-dial code for the office number and hit send, the home number is dialed (because it is displayed above the office number). And the display doesn't tell me which number is being dialed.
I would appreciate any help.

Who here feels that Verizon has completely revoked our rights as consumers by changing the phones original user interface, by crippling the bluetooth, and restricting where we can purchase ringtones for our phones.
Personally I have about had it with VZW. They took a really nice phone (Raze V3C) and destroyed it.
I have not read one positive review or heard anyone speak highly of it based on the delays, UI, buzzing and humming, speakers not working, and a host of other issues.

May I ask any techs here exactly what it is they test for months on end in the field???
Sure as heck is not the phones themselves!!!

I got the RAZR yesterday and activated it and everything was good. I love the hone but I have a problem that I can't understand. Most of my immediate family has Nextel brand iDen phones and when they call me they never get through and get a message that says, "the number or code you dialed is incorrect. please try again." I wanted to know if anyone out there knew anything about this and if so how I could fix this problem. i am sure it has nothing to do with the phone. i also tried *228 like 5 times so i don't know what else to do. Thanks.

I have the 8100 but the bluetooth is not the best and thats my main reason for a phone like this. I wear a headset all day. How would the Razor perform?
