Nokia 6270
6270 and Cingular???
I was hoping someone who has this phone and Cingular service could tell me if everything works perfectly?...the net, texts, multimedia messasing, email, etc. To get it to work properly with Cingular service, does it take much effort and is there anything else that i'll need to know? I'm trying to decide between the Nokia 6270 and the Samsung D600...but leaning towards the 6270 for features.

I have this phone running on Cingular. Everything works as expected. The GPRS/MMS settings can either be entered manually or automatically by using the Nokia WEB site "set up" feature. The phone displays "E" when it is in an EDGE enabled area ("G" when it is in a regular old GPRS area). The performance is impressive.
Other issues: Voice Recognition is a disaster, battery life is less than desireable, why change the size of the power adapter connector - nuts (or a way to extract revenue)? Music Player has very poor implementation of fast forward and/or reverse (no different than other Nokia phones, but I had hoped they would do better), slider style takes some getting used to, the slider does not fit tightly (has some play in it) but t...
