You might try the Cingular Connection Manager as described in the Device Tutorials available from the Cingular website after you log-in to your account. Follow the instructions for setting up the serial cable.

Did you find the answer to this. I am also wondering. Can the LG C2000 be connected to laptop with a USB data cable and be used as a modem? I ordered the data suite (Data Suite For LG F9100, G4015, G4050, L1150, L1200, L1400, C1500, C2000) and it says it can. But, on other sites, it says "no modem support for the LG C2000". Please help.
