Well, it has EDGE, so I would assume cingular would get it too....the problem is it's UGLY!!! The current iPaq that t-mobile has is a nice looking phone...this one however looks like...a BOX...and that's about it....

I think when it was announced here on phone scoop it was for cingular.... or maybe it was a different model? All I know is that there is definitely an IPAQ coming to cingular

Yes, that news item was talking about this device.
But now it seems to have shown up on HP's UK and Singapore web sites with the original specs, so the rumors about last-minute tweaks may have been incorrect...

it was on the last batch of cingular rebate forms in stores.... but hasn't been on any since then. (they end today)

My source said this is a Cingular release.
I think the current model 6315 looks better and has better features compared to the HW line.
My only wish from HP.....
Release the Bluetooth v1.2 for my phone, that's all I ask.

I work for T-Mobile, this phone is actually coming out for them. Cingular is releasing the h6315, it's already been announced on this website.

Actually we (Cingular) are releasing the HP HW6500. I have the promo sitting in front of me...

i called buss 2 buss sales dept and he had the phone listed but could not order yet so they know they are getting the phone within the next two weeks they told me.

Sweetie better check your sources. T-Mobile is not getting the 6500 in intial launch, though latter they will and T-Mobile's EDGE network is two years out, though they may skip EDGE and go straight for 3GSM, though AT&T started 3GSM deployments last year and Cingular is relaunching it this month (supposely). So Cingular will have the lead. Now if they can only get nice looking phones, they look like Verizon 3 years ago.
