Motorola ROKR E1

Does anyone know how to make pictures fit the screen for picture caller id.

Ok guys for some reason my itunes is not working now. some how i lost my libary and when i plug the phone in its saying do I want to link it to the new libary in itunes. Then itunes says it cant find the folder for MCJ which is my playlist I cant erase or add songs to my phone because the icons dont come up for my playlists in itunes please help. 😢

Can someone please tell me how to do this? this hundred song limit is killing me!

First of all I love this phone it has everthing. But I am having trouble getting good sound out of the head phones. I turn the volume all the way up to 7 and the sound is still low. My buddy has a ipod and he gets good sound please help.

Is there any way to hook your rokr up to a stereo using the phone output jack

So far a little miffed by this phone. It's ok, but the features and interface is going to take some getting used to.

Trying to figure out...

1) how to assign a picture to someone's name in the address book

2) assigning a blue tooth speakerphone

3) transfering pictures to a computer

Can someone inform me if it is possible?

Has anyone had an issue with there Rokr involving the screen to freeze on a incoming call. When this happens none of the buttons work, only to reboot the phone. Any helpful input would be appreciated.

Since no one is responding guess u all dun understand...i make it simplier...i try to drag and drop the mp3(nt itunes) and movie file into their located places...my phone keep showing do not disconnect when it got nothing to do with itunes..help really needed

You should feel really special if you have a Rokr E1, because Cingular is not selling it anymore. It is not even on the online store anymore. The Rokr E1 is now a matyr but will go down in history as having the best damn stereo speakers and itunes. 🙂

Just in case it isn't posted anywhere else.

I currently have about 200 MP3's on my ROKR.

The trick is, you don't HAVE to use iTunes - I never even installed it. In the mobile\audio folder, you can put as many MP3's as your card will hold.

You should be able to use both iTunes and the motorola audio player as well.

There is one downside - you cannot use playlists for some odd reason. So, if you have to have a playlist, use iTunes.

Personally, I am not a big fan of Apple or the iPod, so I prefer this method.

i have a couple questions.

just recently bought this phone unlocked. since i had tmobile and it was a cingular phone. so i put my sim card in and the main screen says cingular is that a problem?

also the screen displays a green triangle and i know its for roaming but i dont understand how i could be roaming.

also it displays a phone with a little number 1 next to it. i looked in the book and it says active call.

what should i do? is there even a problem or am i being paranoid. if anyone can help me i would appreciate it much. thank you

OMG the first week i got this phone, Everything under the battery fell apart. the clip for the sim card and memory card came right off, which was a BI*** to put back, i needed tweezers and a magnifine glass. the mini SD card never stayed in place, and it always sounded like there was something jiggling around in the phone.

it took forever to turn on, u need to press in the power key for ever, then watch the what seemes like forever start up "show"

the camera was terrible compared to other vga's and the so called flash was to me, a dim flashlight for when i needed to find something in the dark.

transfering music took forever, if i could even get it to work i considered it lucky, my computer would reconize the phone, then if u even...

does this phone include the album art in the itunes program like all the recent ipod releases??

I've tried converting some avi files to put into my phone, and it works, but every file i play has a video lag for at least 15-20 seconds before it starts to move, and the audio is fine. I use the program Imtoo3gp to convert my .avi files, and every file converted did not exceed 1 mb. i have no clue why it lags, is it the phone? or wat is it? it's really driving me mad.

Why is my phone book eating its entries, i mean i input a number yesterday and today when i input another one today it disappeared HELP!!!!

I just picked up a Rokr E1 loaded tunes from a G5 Mac running 10.4.4 Itunes 6.02. I transferred over 83 songs and all went well but when you go to playlist on the E1 it lists all the individual songs instead of playlist names. I'd like to be able to make playlists of the songs that reside on the E1 is there any way to do that?

Just want to share it with you. I purchase a mobile phone management tool from one of the COMPUSA stores, the package looks great (just like one of Sony's software package), and the price is reasonable (compare to other similar products in the market). "overseas versions have GSM 900 instead of 850"

In Canada it is 850, but will it work if the phones comes from Usa (uses 900)?
