Motorola ROKR E1

I think i deleted some program becaz now when I plug in my usb cable my pc wont recognize it. A message saying usb device not recognized pops up. I cant use itunes or transfer files back and forth from my phone to my pc plz help

here is a very juvenile question; and I am terribly sorry if I am wasting your time here. I just bought a ROKR unlocked. There is no carrier name on this phone. When I put my ATTWS SIM card in the phone for the FIRST time, will the WAP and browser settings be applied automatically? Will I have to contact cingular for these? Will they give them to me with no questions asked? Can I get them from the website for cingular (they have a device assistance link)?

can the rokr play video's you download from i-tunes?

I am thinking about purchasing this phone but and curious what are the embedded games and I was looking for games I could download but have not been able to find the ROKR list for games downloads do you use another phone instead?

So I just got my ROKR and I go to push the itunes button and it does nothing I can download songs to the phone but it will not play them...so anyone else run into this or am I just missing somthing...pardon the pun

iTunes will not recognize my ROKR, ive done everything. Motorola tech support took me through a 2 hour good for nothing troubleshooting adventure, just to find that i had a DOA so I went and got a new phone, and the problem is still here!!!!!!! Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

👿 Ok can anyone tell me how to turn the keypad back light on. Shouldn't the keypad light come one once you press a key? I can't seem to locate the options through out the phone setting. Any help would be appreciated.

Covert any mp3 to a 3GP file
When USB is connected drop the file in the video folder of the phone and it will play using a bluetooth headset

Anyone know how to play your 3gp videos in landscape? Or an app you can install to do this?

I just got this ROKR phone (finally), I was all excited to put the 100 song on the 512 card, but the phone stops exactly at 50 and says the phone is only set up for 50. When I look at the memory left on the card, there is more than enough available.

What gives?

It doesn't appear in the directions, but it seems like you should be able to do this. It seems like in the "sounds" menu (w/in "my media"), when you hit the smart key on "new imelody" (which appears under all of the ringtones currently in the phone), it offers you to switch storage devices...which then reads "trans-(and my itunes device)" or "phone"...which is the default. I assume this means there is an option to transfer from itunes. When you switch to the other storage device ("itunes") it just gives you a blank screen (the header is "sounds" and it reads "empty") and the only option is to repeat the tone, view empty space or switch back to phone ringers. But from there I'm lost. Any ideas or help?

After i hang up or someone hangs up on me, the phone plays the ring tone over and over and over again. THe only thing that will stop it is turning the phone off (it will really ring when powered off, but stops when you turn the power back on agian.)

Crazy i know, anyone know of a solution? Ken you seem to be the man on these questions 🙂

Alright so I'm trying to decide between this and a RAZR and I know what the determining point will be.

If I bought this phone and simply moved songs over to it, NOT via iTunes, just to the phone, could I use them as ringtones? I mean, can I use the microSD card in there to store mp3s, but not use them in iTunes, but only use them for ringtones?

This is a huge point for me because I don't need to use this for iTunes as I already have an iPod, I just want full song ringtones if possible.

My question is basically can u play music without the headphones and only playing music from the phone speakers? I ask this because i wanted to put the phone on a table an blast the music from the phones speakers.

I purchased this phone from the internet (not from Cingular), upgrading memory to 512MB . When i tried to download songs, it halted at 218 MB or about 45-50 songs total. What seems to be a problem ? can it be fixed ? Thanks

anyone know an online manual that lists every single indicator on the phone? There's an icon that popped up after i turned my phone off, and then on again. it is right beside the network bars.

I dont know what that indicator means... now i'm having problems transfering ringtones from my 512mb card to the phone.

😎 This phone looked cool at first but it pales in comparison to the Nokia N91. Nokia makes a better phone with a built in hard drive, a 2 magapixel camera and stage two bluetooth. The N91 will be available later this year or early 2006. So the facts are clear, It doesn't match up!

i was wondering if the ROKR had a key pad lock button like the S710a does. I am getting new phone and have narrowed it down to these 2 phones. thanks
