Speakerphone crackles on 7
I used my phone just two times so far to call CS and if I have it set to the highest volume at 7 the speakerphone will crackle here and there. If I have it on 6 or below it doesn't. I just wanted to know if anyone else has this problem or if prehaps I have a faulty one. Thank you.

My speakerphone doesn't crackle at all on 7. It may just be a defect. I posted a review a few days after you did and saw your question about Cingular carrying this phone for credit based accounts. I purchased the phone from RadioShack in the Go-Phone package. I just inserted my own SIM card and it works just the same as any other phone they offer. The people in the store won't tell you that but it's true. Also, the phone is selling for only $69.99 right now.

I bought this phone for the same purpose as you (the reason was that my old phone broke and I need a new one for the time-being). The dealer at the Cingular shop said you can buy the GoPhones and just put your SIM card from your current phone into the GoPhone, and it will work without any configuration. It seems they were correct, as I've made about 5 calls so far without any trouble.
Pity I had to spend $60 on a phone to get me through the last 4 months of my contract, but, oh well; it's the cell phone business. You're gonna get screwed one way or the other. 😛
