Charger Compatibility?

I was told that I could not use my RAZR car or wall charger for the 2125 - something about the pins in the mini-USB plug. I would rather not pay $30 for the Cingular car charger, is there any other car charger that will work with this phone?

Blackberry chargers work. Its actually a motorola thing, not a BlackBerry/HTC thing. Moto changes the pins for God knows what reason. Like to be different I guess.

I am using a motorola charger and the screen indicates that it is charging but have not tested whether it is actually charging yet. Does anyone know?
