UTStarcom PPC-6700 / XV-6700 / HTC Apache
XV6700 HELP
My girlfriend just got the XV6700 from verizon. so far this has been the worst phone ever. We are giving it one more chance. The day we got it, it freezes up nothing works....nothing. so we take out the battery and put it back in. it powers up. but it gets no service whatsoever. We have to wait until the phone dies and charge it back up. We power the phone back on and it works for 5 mintues then does the same thing! 👿 She gets a new one tomorrow. Has anybody else experienced this? hopefully this phone is just a lemon. It has great potential

i think thats a lemon its really a terrific phone i love mine i just dont use all of its features

Fair enough. Please don't take what I said the wrong way. As for me, I wish I still had a 6700. That phone could work miracles!

my girlfriends new 6700 is working ok. so far i still see a few bugs such as it is running very slow. when she erases her inbox sometimes it freezes. and when i put in my 2gb memory card instead of her 1 gb memory card it completely froze up. now she just leaves her memory card out , when ever she tries to put it in, it asks her if she wants to scan for new media. she has tried yes and no but it still pops up all the time.

i dont have any problems w mine.although she might be running more apps at once. i didnt take in person wm6user. i completely understand. when i first got it i started using everything and i was amazed by itspower. i'm stil amazed, but im not using it as much. a few months ago when i got it my sister lived 2 states away, my bf 2 hrs away and i texted and talked all the time and emailed, but now shes 20 minutes away and i live w him. so now i dont do all that stuff.
